Our English courses include:
- Return airport transfer (Birmingham International airport)
- Full board (3 meals a day) homestay accommodation and private bedroom

- Diagnostic test - your teacher will test you to find out your level before your course commences

- 2 x 20 minute SKYPE conversation sessions after you've returned home (optional)

This sample timetable is given as a guide only; your teacher will design a course to address your personal needs.

Monday | Diagnostic Test: Your teacher will test your English skills so that you can both see which areas yo need to improve on. Grammar: Tenses - exercises and practice. |
Lunch | Skills Development: Listening and speaking - your teacher will offer you a range of listening and speaking exercises designed to improve your listening skills, fluency and pronunciation. | Dinner with your teacher and his/her family. After dinner, your teacher may suggest a visit to a local pub |
Tuesday | Grammar: Verb patterns. Vocabulary: Idioms |
Lunch | Skills Development: Reading and writing - improve your English comprehension and writing skills. | After dinner, relax with your teacher and family and maybe play some board games |
Wednesday | Grammar: Expressing quantity Vocabulary:Suffixes and prefixes |
Lunch | Skills Development: Listening and speaking – your teacher will engage you in lively discussion and will be assessing your understanding before moving on to the next exercise | Your teacher may take you out for dinner with friends so that you can practice your newly improved speaking and listening skills |
Thursday | Grammar: Expressing habit Vocabulary: Guessing meaning |
Lunch | Skills Development: Reading and writing - Your teacher will help you to develop your skills by supporting you to use more complex structures and vocabulary in your writing. | Dinner and a movie with your teacher and family. |
Friday | Visit to Stratford-upon-Avon (William Shakespeare’s birthplace) or other local place of interest. | Pub lunch | Skills Development: Listening and speaking - your teacher may design an activity based around today’s visit to Stratford Recap and consolidation – you will have the opportunity to re-visit any work that you haven’t fully understood. Your teacher will also test you again to show you how much you have improved! He/she will also prepare your course report. |
If you have an interest in English cookery, your teacher may give you an informal cookery lesson whilst preparing dinner. After dinner, you may decide to sample the local night-life (clubs and bars) with or without your teacher. |
Saturday | Certificate of attendance given. You have a free day to explore the city or maybe do some shopping. | Lunch | Dinner with your teacher, family and maybe family friends. | |

After we have received your completed course enquiry form, we will send you a host tutor proposal. You will be able to see a photograph of him/her, any family members, their qualifications, a description of their home and a photograph of your room. You will also receive a brief description of their lifestyle, including hobbies/interests and how they spend a typical day.
Once you accept our proposal, we will send you confirmation and your invoice for payment. If the course that you require is not detailed in the student section e.g. you’d like to combine your course with a sporting or cultural activity, e.g. English and golf or English and water sports, please complete our enquiry form. We’d be happy to tailor make a course for you!
